Ovidiu-Roland Predescu

Ovidiu Roland Predescu is a Romanian-American scholar specializing in Byzantine and post-Byzantine art and architecture. He is a Professor of Art History at Tulane University, known for his research on the material culture of the Byzantine diaspora and its influence on Southeastern European artistic traditions. Predescu's publications explore themes of religious identity, cultural exchange, and the preservation of Byzantine heritage.
